L.C.D CRACK UP

A few moths ago my next door neighbour had a fight with himself and in the midst of this fight he broke his L.C.D T.V. Lucky for me i thought. it's taken me a while to get round to doing anything with it but i made a video and took some photos. I've also used the the video in what will be in my degree show as part of the green screen clothing I've been doing. here are some photos and a bit of development. The tops photos are screen shots from the video that i cant upload.

BANG FACE!!!

last week I went to a festival at camber sands holiday park in sussex. The name of this festival was BANG FACE. actually the best festival i've ever been to. I've been wanting to go for the last three years but never could as it's always around hand in time. I just had to go this year, so glad i did. once i got down there I instantly saw so many people that are MY potential client market. Happy, fun ravers with exquisite dress sense!

8 bit knit

Although I am primarily a printer I always wanted to to do some knitted pieces too. I've been knitting most of the week and will soon upload some photo's. My designs translate well in knit As the knit machine is similar to computer graphics as in it uses squares that are penciled in on the knit machine. each square represents a single stitch. just like each square represents one pixel.
I found this website today.

maths in fashion

I've been thinking about the geodesic dome and how I could combine the construction in a garment then I remembered Fred Butler and his mathematically constructed accessories. He was the one who designed the telephone hat for lady gaga as seen in the video "telephone" I really like the idea of having these type of shapes in my garments and accessories or i may just build a giant dome for my degree show!
